In the splendid land of Maremma, a location awaits you that fulfils your desire to experience the real Tuscany. The Grosseto Maremma is the stretch of Maremma that corresponds to the province of Grosseto and extends from the Gulf of Follonica in the north to the mouth of the Chiarone stream in the south, which marks the border with Lazio. This geographical region is bordered to the west by the Tyrrhenian Sea, where the southern islands of the Tuscan archipelago (Elba, Montecristo, Formiche di Grosseto, Giglio and Giannutri) are visible.
caldana... the village to discover
Homeliday is located on the outskirts of the village of Caldana. A 100-metre walk will transport you back to the Middle Ages. The village is characterised by a network of cellars that extend throughout the historic centre. An impressive series of cellars and tunnels are opened to the public during festivals (especially in autumn) and Christmas markets, and never fail to amaze tourists and visitors who come to this corner of the Maremma for the first time.
